Independent Provider Agreement
These beta terms are provided for early testing and may be updated. Brivio is a marketplace that helps customers connect with independent local providers. Brivio does not perform, supervise, direct, insure, or control the services listed or completed through the platform.
By creating a provider profile, sending a quote, or accepting a job, you agree that you are an independent provider and not an employee, agent, partner, or representative of Brivio.
A. Independent status
Provider chooses which jobs to quote or accept. Provider controls how accepted work is performed, subject to any agreement made directly with the customer.
B. Provider responsibility
Provider is solely responsible for work quality, safety, tools, transportation, materials, taxes, insurance, licenses, permits, compliance with laws, property damage, injuries, and claims related to provider's work.
C. Qualification
Provider must only accept jobs they are qualified and legally allowed to perform.
D. Licensed work
Provider must not accept work requiring a license, permit, insurance, or legal qualification unless provider has the required authorization.
E. Damage and claims
Provider is responsible for resolving customer claims, reported damage, poor workmanship, incomplete work, unsafe work, or other issues related to provider's services.
F. Indemnity placeholder
Provider agrees to protect and hold Brivio harmless from claims, costs, losses, or damages arising from provider's work, conduct, communications, taxes, licensing, insurance, permits, injuries, property damage, or violation of these terms.
G. Beta payments
During beta, payment is handled directly between customer and provider.
H. Platform enforcement
Brivio may remove listings, limit accounts, pause access, or remove a provider from beta if reports, safety concerns, repeated problems, or policy violations occur.
I. Background checks
Background checks may be offered or required for certain provider features in the future. Providers should only complete background checks through Brivio's approved third-party screening flow when that feature becomes available. Providers should not submit SSN or sensitive screening information directly into Brivio.
